Highly thermally insulated sliding and lift-slide system with barrier-free threshold – For today. For tomorrow. For buildings with a future.

In addition to windows and doors, sliding systems must also meet special requirements in order to be comfortable and easy to use for people with motor impairments or wheelchair users. The focus here is on the transition of the threshold from the inside to the outside.
Threshold heights in Germany, for example, are only permitted up to 2cm, and only if it is technically indispensable. In Austria, the focus is on “rollover capability”.
The second important feature for accessibility lies in the required operating force. – Particularly due to sometimes very high sash weights, alternative operation is crucial. It must be ensured that everyone can easily open and close sliding systems.
The Schüco ASE 60 TipTronic and ASE 80.HI TipTronic sliding systems meet these requirements with the Schüco TipTronic mechatronic fitting. Thanks to the motorized operability, even high vent weights up to 600kg can be moved easily.

Schüco ASE 80.HI (Aluminium Sliding Elements) TipTronic – Sliding systems with profile-integrated mechatronic drive technology

Schüco ASE 80.HI TipTronic is a sliding system with innovative profile-integrated drive and control elements.
All fitting parts are mounted completely concealed.
The Schüco ASE 80.HI TipTronic sliding system offers many different opening variants for planning automatically driven sliding systems. In a sliding or lift- and sliding system Schüco ASE 80.HI TipTronic, depending on the type of element, up to 6 vents can be moved by motor. Each vent has an integrated vent control unit; in the case of a multi-vent system, the individual vents communicate via a concealed main control unit.
The aluminum profiles, in combination with the specially developed drive and control technology, enable large-format constructions with vent weights of up to 600 kg and opening widths of up to 18 m for transparent living spaces.
Integrated sensors ensure safe operation.
Schüco ASE 80.HI TipTronic is suitable exclusively for use in dry rooms.
All components are installed vertically in the vent or outer frame.

Special features

For maximum convenience, we offer different operating options: LED push-button directly on the vent unit or various room push-buttons as well as operation via smartphone using the Schüco app or direct connection to the building management system via Schüco gateways.

Schüco AD UP 75 with barrier-free zero threshold – For today. For tomorrow. For buildings with a future.

Schüco AD UP with the barrier-free zero threshold creates an absolutely floor-level threshold solution of 0.0 mm.
The Schüco AD UP door system complies with the barrier-free standards of various countries: e.g. German DIN 18040 (barrier-free building), Austrian ON B1600.
The barrier-free zero threshold enables unrestricted, threshold-free access into buildings.
The Schüco AD UP barrier-free threshold achieves the highest class 6 of the ift guideline “Determination of the classification of the roll-over capacity of thresholds (BA-01/1)”.
With the Schüco AD UP barrier-free solution, all classic requirements for a door, such as driving rain tightness or air permeability, can still be implemented at the highest level.
The additional installation of automatic swing door operators also allows doors to open as if by themselves, which enables easy building access for people with motor disabilities.

Schüco ADS 65 HD Gen2 is a thermally-insulated and robust aluminium door. Schüco ADS 65 HD permits high loads and is suitable for commercial and residential areas. The system was developed for projects where high-performance single doors are required.
Schüco ADS 65 HD has a strong design and allows large opening widths. The system can be integrate within building automation systems, for example with integral Schüco DCS access control.
The new series is an extension of the Schüco ADS 65 HD with the following additions:
– New central seal system for tougher sealing and thermal insulation requirements
– Zero threshold for accessible building access and convenience for inward- and outward-opening doors

Special feature

Design versions:

– 1-leaf outward-opening with zero threshold and inward-opening with stop and zero threshold (phase 1 from autumn 2021)

– 2-leaf, panic version with zero threshold or standard threshold inward/outward opening, Schüco AWS connection (phase 2 from spring 2022)

Same tools for Schüco ADS 65 HD Gen2 as for Schüco ADS 65 HD.

As part of the Schüco AWS system platform, the thermally insulated window system offers an extensive range of solutions for the 65 mm basic depth to meet a variety of building envelope requirements.

It is based on the functional, energy-efficiency and design properties of the aluminium construction: perfectly tailored components combine benefits such as good thermal insulation, narrow face widths and concealed, standard manual or electromechanical fittings for inward and outward-opening windows.

The high level of flexibility of the system enables a wide variety of uses as a punched opening, ribbon window or façade insert unit, as well as in combination with Schüco door systems.

An additional benefit for architects and specifiers is the wide range of opening types such as side-hung and turn/tilt vents, bottom-hung toplights or barrier-free window doors.

An outward-opening window design with centre gasket is also available as a double-vent window with burglar resistance in accordance with test procedure PAS 24.

A wide range of profiles is available within the system platform, including corner mullions, structural mullions, symmetrical and asymmetrical mullions, as well as a number of design variations and additional combination options, such as with Schüco sun shading and ventilation systems.

Schüco AWS 65 thereby sets standards in terms of planning flexibility and offers attractive window solutions for ambitious architecture.

  • The Schüco AWS 65 VV (Ventilation Vent) window system is available as an opaque side-hung vent with ventilation function in different face widths – with excellent weathertightness and sound reduction values even in extreme weather conditions thanks to the split insulating bar.

Blast resistance combined with all the advantages of standard Schüco door systems

The blast-resistant Schüco ADS 90 XR (Explosion-Resistant) door system, which has been arena air-blast tested in accordance with ISO 16933, combines high security with modern architecture. The system concept allows single and double-leaf outward-opening door solutions to be designed with blast-resistant properties.

The aluminium door constructions are thus suitable for a wide variety of applications. This includes military requirements as well as high-security areas such as petrochemical plants, banks and embassies.

The blast-resistant design meets all the requirements of normal doors with regard to thermal insulation, sound reduction and weathertightness and is visually indistinguishable from standard Schüco doors.

A further benefit of the system is the wide range of installation positions: fixed wall units can be constructed, as can combinations with blast-resistant Schüco façade systems.

For security reasons, fabricators require special approval to construct this door system.
