Schüco Fabrication Data Centre (Schüco FDC) puts IT in the workshop

The Schüco Fabrication Data Centre puts project- and catalogue information in the workshop digitally. The software includes a special SchüCal/JANIsoft-version and our AKS TechDoc documentation adapted to the fabrication process. The Schüco Fabrication Data Centre screen is operated via touch and makes rapid, efficient fabrication of our aluminium elements certain. Bars coming off the saw can be recognized via the barcode and SchüCal/JANIsoft immediately finds the intended fabrication position. The related documents, e.g. roll plans, are displayed immediately. The metalworker sees all processing procedures in 3-D and easily recognizes all item details. One click lets him reach the correct catalogue page… quite a bit faster than searching through the printed catalogue. The update service has all data at the latest status anytime.

Special feature

The Schüco Fabrication Data Centre lets industrial processors save time and costs in the workshop while additionally ensuring quality.

Schüco e-opener – motorization of Schüco locks in single-locking systems

Schüco e-openers are positioned opposite the lock latches, holding these securely while remaining hidden.
Schüco e-openers are controlled electronically and can be unlocked at the simple touch of a button. This releases the doors.
Schüco e-openers only impact the lock latch.
The bolt is separate – if the bolt is locked, the door will remain closed and cannot be opened even if the e-opener has been released.

Schüco e-opener functions
– Operating current mode
The door is locked without power/electricity. It can be opened once contact has been made.  If there is a power cut, the door will remain locked. Schüco e-openers with working current can be operated using alternating or direct voltage power. Alternating current comes with an audible buzz.
Direct current is silent. Some DC e-openers contain a signal processor that creates a kind of impulse power from the direct current, meaning that the DC e-opener opens almost as reliably as an AC e-opener.
– Static current function
The door is locked when the power is on. Without power, it can be opened. If there is a power cut, the door will remain unlocked.
Schüco e-openers with closed current power can only be operated with direct current.

Special feature

Please always ask about additional Schüco e-opener functions separately and in advance. Special orders are possible.

Schüco AWS 90 AC.SI – Natural window ventilation with sound insulation in limited tilt position

Schüco AWS 90 AC.SI is a window system that is especially suitable for buildings in areas subject to noise pollution.
It is an acoustic window solution that, on the one hand, can be fully opened for ventilation and, on the other hand, when opened in limited tilt position, keeps the noise pollution in the building low.
The airflow when the vent is tilted is ensured with prefabricated cassettes in the upper outer frame. The tilt position is held in the sound-insulating position via opening limiters.
Schüco AWS 90 AC.SI can be fully opened to an opening angle of 180° for short cross-ventilation or cleaning, thanks to the concealed Schüco AvanTec SimplySmart system fitting.
Maintenance is easy and is performed by replacing the filter cassettes with the vent open.

Special features

Sensitive rooms, such as bedrooms, offices and children’s rooms facing the street can be naturally ventilated using this window system, without being bothered by traffic noise.

This window offers direct ventilation with high sound insulation at the same time.

Schüco AvanTec SimplySmart OpenSecure – Burglar-resistance RC2 even with windows in open tilted position

Window with resistance class RC2 provide an important base protection against attempted break-ins with various tools.
Until now certified resistance classes always referred to windows in the closed condition.
For greater security Schüco has developed the Schüco AvanTec SimplySmart OpenSecure fitting.
It is intended for aluminium windows with tilt before turn operation.
The upgraded fitting ensures burglar-resistance in resistance class RC2, while in the closed condition but also in the tilted position, i.e. open. The maximum ventilation cross-section is reached at 175 mm tilt opening width.
In this sector other suppliers only offer solutions with a ventilation gap.
Schüco AvanTec SimplySmart OpenSecure can be combined with all AWS standard and block systems, allowing significant design flexibility. The system is suitable for all residential houses and buildings, including window elements on the ground floor or at easily accessible locations, such as balconies.
Schüco AvanTec SimplySmart OpenSecure is ideal for properties with high security requirements:
– Private houses with addition requirements for child-safe windows
– Residential and office buildings
– Schools / universities
– Kindergartens

Special feature

Schüco AvanTec SimplySmart OpenSecure allows night cooling with RC2 protection.

With the tilt-before-turn mechanism, the window can be moved between closed and tilted whilst being locked at all times.

A key is required to release the turned position for cleaning or maintenance.

Installation can be done without additional tools.

Highly thermally insulated sliding and lift-slide system with barrier-free threshold – For today. For tomorrow. For buildings with a future.

In addition to windows and doors, sliding systems must also meet special requirements in order to be comfortable and easy to use for people with motor impairments or wheelchair users. The focus here is on the transition of the threshold from the inside to the outside.
Threshold heights in Germany, for example, are only permitted up to 2cm, and only if it is technically indispensable. In Austria, the focus is on “rollover capability”.
The second important feature for accessibility lies in the required operating force. – Particularly due to sometimes very high sash weights, alternative operation is crucial. It must be ensured that everyone can easily open and close sliding systems.
The Schüco ASE 60 TipTronic and ASE 80.HI TipTronic sliding systems meet these requirements with the Schüco TipTronic mechatronic fitting. Thanks to the motorized operability, even high vent weights up to 600kg can be moved easily.

Special features

The following sliding systems can be made barrier-free:

Schüco A-opener – motorization of Schüco locks in multi-locking systems

The Schüco A-opener (automatic opener) is a significantly more secure access control option than e-opener technology.
This is a motorization of Schüco multi-locking systems (Schüco SafeMatic, Schüco Interlock and the new Schüco hook locks for the Schüco AD UP line). Unlike with the e-opener, power is supplied via the leaf.
Functions:

– Temporary release – this short-term unlocking of the door is activated by an electrical impulse at the unlocking input. The A-opener (motor) pulls the automatic latches back, acknowledging the opening with 2 signal tones, and then releases them after 2 seconds. The door locks automatically when closed again.
– Permanent release – constant closed contact at the unlocking input (permanent release e.g. via a timer switch) means the automatic latches remain withdrawn until the contact is opened again.

Special feature

The Schüco A-opener may only be used on smoke or fire doors if it is ensured that there is always enough power to run the automatic latches into the locking position even in the case of a power cut (e.g. using a disruption-free power supply or energy buffer).

If the Schüco A-opener is operated with buffer storage, the buffer storage must be replaced after 5 years.

It is fundamentally not permitted to operate a Schüco A-opener in “permanent release” on smoke or fire doors (!)
