Schüco LivIng – the new generation for pioneering PVC-U doors
Twin system = One system with two versions (AS/MD)
The Schüco LivIng PVC-U system is an innovative 7-chamber system that can be constructed as a twin system with both a rebate gasket and a centre gasket. In conjunction with the centre gasket, the system achieves passive house standard in accordance with ift Rosenheim. As a system with a rebate gasket, excellent thermal insulation properties and narrow face widths are also achieved.
The first weld-on gasket is integrated in the Schüco LivIng window system. Using elastic, weld-on material increases the sealing effect in the difficult corner area of the unit, whilst also allowing for a closed, visually appealing corner design without hard gasket corners. The durable, eco-friendly material keeps a tight seal throughout its entire service life.
White profiles are supplied with modern, silver-grey gaskets, foiled profiles are available with black gaskets.
Profiles can be coloured with a large selection of single colour and woodgrain decorative foils, Schüco AutomotiveFinish and Schüco TopAlu.
The PVC-U system Schüco CT 70 AS with rebate gasket is based on a 5-chamber technology. Excellent thermal insulation properties and narrow face widths in three different vent contours are the distinctive features of this system.
Schüco CT 70 AS window systems are suitable for a wide variety of uses in both new-build and renovation projects. An extensive range of accessories ensures a high level of system security.
The two drainage levels guarantee an optimum protection aginst wind, rain and noise.

The Schüco AWS 120 CC.SI (Composite Construction Super Insulation) composite window system together with integrated Schüco CCB (Concealed Composite Blind) sun shading system is an optimised complete system for energy-efficient building envelopes. It offers passive house-certified thermal insulation and sun shading, glare protection and screening with clear views outside, all of which can be used in any weather. With a barely visible louvre blade stack when the Venetian blind is raised and no light penetrating at the sides when the Venetian blind is lowered, the complete package meets high design requirements with its internal and external appearance. A structural-glazing design is also possible.
If a normal opening function of the units is not required, the integration of the sun shading in fixed lights with inspection vents offers the most efficient solution. This simplified construction only has one inspection vent as the maintenance and cleaning opening, which normally remains locked.
The extensive range of fittings includes a flat rosette and an elegant design cover, which can be removed if necessary. To open the inspection vent, a Schüco standard installation handle is inserted into the rosette. With this economical fixed light version, the installation benefits of the integrated sun shading are retained, as are the high sound reduction values.
Demand-led, energy-efficient ventilation concepts are also possible with an integrated Schüco ventilation system and the Schüco TipTronic SimplySmart mechatronic fitting.
The Schüco AWS 90.SI+ (Super Insulation) window system perfectly meets structural requirements while offering the greatest possible design freedom – including optimised thermal insulation and passive house certification.
As part of the Schüco AWS modular system for the 90 mm basic depth, the aluminium window offers a high level of flexibility for implementing attractive design solutions in building envelopes. Depending on architectural requirements, it can be configured as a punched opening, ribbon window or insert units in Schüco façades as well as in combination with Schüco door systems.
The wide range of opening types includes designs such as side-hung, turn/tilt and tilt/slide vents as well as barrier-free opening and double-vent units.
A further benefit for specifiers and architects is the wide range of profiles within the system platform, including corner mullions, structural mullions, symmetrical and asymmetrical mullions, as well as additional combination options, such as with Schüco sun shading and ventilation systems.
The window system with maximum thermal insulation thereby sets standards in terms of planning and design flexibility for the construction of energy-efficient, stylish building envelopes.
- Schüco AWS 90 BS.SI+ (Block System Super Insulation) : Block window with maximum thermal insulation and concealed vent for sophisticated designs
- The Schüco AWS 90 VV.SI+ (Ventilation Vent Super Insulation) window system with maximum thermal insulation is available as an opaque side-hung vent with ventilation function in different face widths – with excellent weathertightness and sound reduction values even in extreme weather conditions thanks to the split insulating bar.
- Schüco Window AWS 90.SI+ Green passive house certification by optimized thermal insulation with Uf ≤ 0.7 W/(m²K)
The optimised Schüco AWS 75.SI+ (Super Insulation) standard window system for the 75 mm basic depth is part of the Schüco AWS system platform and forms the basis for a range of applications in energy-efficient building envelopes. Depending on the architectural requirements, the highly thermally insulated aluminium system can be used as a punched opening, ribbon window, façade insert unit or in combination with Schüco door systems.
An additional benefit for architects and specifiers is the wide range of opening types such as tilt/slide vents, bottom-hung toplights or horizontal and vertical pivot vents.
A wide range of profiles is available within the system platform, including corner mullions, structural mullions, symmetrical and asymmetrical mullions, as well as a number of design variations and additional combination options, such as with Schüco sun shading and ventilation systems.
Developed to be future-oriented, the system is based on the Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) principle, making it perfect for planning sustainable building concepts with construction units that have been tested and assessed for harmful substances and recycling properties. Raw materials are turned into products which can be turned back into high-quality raw materials with their original quality at the end of their lifecycle. Schüco AWS 75.SI+ has been tested by EPEA Hamburg and certified with a silver label in accordance with the latest C2C standard of the American Cradle to Cradle Innovation Institute.
Schüco AWS 70. HI thereby sets standards in terms of planning flexibility and offers attractive window solutions for ambitious architecture.
- With its outstanding thermal insulation values and slimline design without visible vent contours, the Schüco AWS 75 BS.SI+ (Block System Super Insulation) block window system meets the highest energy-efficiency and architectural requirements with the greatest possible transparency.
- The Schüco AWS 75 VV.SI (Ventilation Vent Super Insulation) window system with maximum thermal insulation is available as an opaque side-hung vent with ventilation function in different face widths – with excellent weathertightness and sound reduction values even in extreme weather conditions thanks to the split insulating bar.

Alongside energy efficiency, the seamless integration of form and function is nowadays a fundamental requirement when creating modern building envelopes. With the Schüco AWS 75 PD.SI (Panorama Design Super Insulation) window, Schüco now offers an opening unit that meets these architectural requirements perfectly, with minimal internal and external face widths and excellent thermal insulation.
System features which are perfectly tailored to one another serve as the basis for this. These include a flush-fitted vent profile appearance on the inside, minimal gasket sightlines, maximum transparency with the narrowest of internal and external face widths, as well as harmonised face widths in the fixed light and opening unit for a uniform frame appearance. Concealed drainage and a clean language of design thanks to narrow profile radii complete the pioneering design window system.
Integration of the highly thermally insulated opening unit in the Schüco FWS 35 PD façade system as well as the combination with the narrow, opaque Schüco AWS 75 PD VV.SI (Ventilation Vent Super Insulation) ventilation vent, for example, provide a perfectly tailored architectural solution.
